Wild Louisiana Kayak Swamp Tours

We brought our little to Louisiana specifically for this tour. He had recently finished a book that featured the Louisiana Bayou and we wanted him to see the real thing. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. He not only provided information on the plants and animals but the history of the waterway and a ghost story for good measure. He engaged the little a d answered his questions. I can not recommend this company enough!

Eco-friendly and original way to discover the swamp and its biodiversity. Our lovely guide Terry told us stories about the various species (animals and plants) that live in the swamp. What a wonderful guide, professionnal and giving that southern warm vibe that we all love. He knew a lot about the swamp and was patient with us even when we got stuck (happened a lot in our group!). We took the transportation from the French Quarter, that I would definitely recommend if you dont own a car. We went during summertime and it was very hot so do not forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, water and bug repellent. Enjoy !!

The kayak tour and adventure itself was great. We enjoyed the scenery and seeing the animals. Our tour guide, Josh, was not the best. 3/5 stars for him. He was late, seemed annoyed the entire time and kept rushing us along. He also made fun of a group member that was deaf. There was no safety briefing or what to do if something unexpected happens. Overall, I would do this tour again just with a different tour guide.

The early morning tour with Ryan was definitely the highlight of our trip. It was very peaceful, and Ryan was a great guide. We saw lots of wildlife and learned how great dragonflies are. 100% would get up early and do this again.
