After five long years I finally got my discharge. Thank you so much to Mr. and Mrs. Podis for always answering my questions and did not give me the runaround, both were always open and honest regarding my case. I would like to say a special thank you to Sarah who was more than willing to help me answer all of my questions. I really appreciate the whole team through this entire process. Thank you so much again for everything.

They were okay enough until I got to the end of my case term. They kept giving me the wrong information about what was needed to close my case. The attorney kept telling me that she'd help me try to get it closed but she never followed through with that (she kept saying that she was working on it). Because of their misinformation, lack of follow through, and circumstances out of my control I had an extra year of tax returns taken from me (at a time that I really could of used that money to help me stabilize myself from the pandemic). Plus, when I'd leave voice messages for the attorney she wouldn't call back, so I kept having to call to try to reach her. The last time I was able to reach her she had an attitude with me about it and told me that I should have just left her a voicemail (after which I never called them again). She did apologize for not following through with what she said she'd do, though. Overall, I regret working with this office and feel that they were untrustworthy and not worth the money. I would not recommend their services.

You have to have a source of income to file chapter 13 -- so if you receive unemployment or child support or social security, you could file chapter 13 (depending on the amount of debt you have to repay) . You have to reside in Tennessee for at least 91 days to file here. Are you moving from another state or just another part of Tennessee? Cynthia Podis

Yes,, I had too.
I think so. Just call Podis & Podis. A great set lawyers.
You can make payments on the attorney fee and costs. The filing fee to the court can be paid after the case is filed. The first appointment is free and we give you in writing the fees and costs.
I am sorry we do not prepare wills but can refer you to another attorney who does wills and trusts. Our law office only practices bankruptcy law.
