Great old school store. They walk the animal in the back and carry them out the front wrapped in paper. They do it all. Deer processing also.

Just visited here for the 1st time 2 days ago....excellent choices of fresh cut meat....you can pre-order just about anything.....the smoked pork chops were the best my wife and I have ever had!

I purchase whole rabbits from Organic Butcher of McLean, in McLean, VA. The rabbit is labelled "Hoppin' Good Rabbit" distributed by Briarwood Valley Farms, in Sullivan, OH. What is the source? How and where are they grown? Antibiotics or hormones?

I toke my rabbits to Briarwood Valley for them to process and sell. I don't use antibiotics or hormones but don't know about the main source. Didn't know they had an organic statis...I live in West Salem OH. When I dropped off my rabbits they had a load coming in from Kentucky and sounded like they were one of the main source but don't know for sure.

Does anyone know who processes deer near here in shiloh?
