Having heard so many horror stories about the VA I was always reluctant to go anywhere near a VA Hospital but finally it became necessary. Im very grateful I got to go to the Newington Medical Center. Everyone, with one exception, was very friendly and helpful. The health e vet website is also a good resource. I was disappointed to learn VA wont accept my Medical Advantage Plan for co-pays however. They don't warn you about that. After a lot of prodding I discovered there are basically two co-pays, $15 or $50 if a specialist or special test is involved. Beware! In hindsight, unless you are going for something that is service related, stick with your private care doctors.

They did not give my fiance his covid vaccine card when he got vaccinated. We called a hundred times. They claimed they're mailing it but never did. We even had other doctors offices officially request medical records and they don't respond. This should be illegal.

It depends on your town. A certain percent is taken from 70% of the value of the property. So another percentage is taken off of that 70% .
