I'm a longtime Medford resident, but had never been here before last night. Would probably go 3.5 stars if I could, but I've rounded up to 4 for the service... as I'll detail below. We ate outside -- it was a little windy, no fault of the restaurant's obviously. Besides that, the outdoor setup is nice. Super comfortable chairs! Cannot speak to the inside ambiance. Prices are a little on the high side, but that was expected. They're currently running a "Dine Out Boston" menu where you can order an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $46 (+$25 for the optional wine pairings). I tried the grilled Caesar salad, which was all right. My bistro burger was also fine, not exactly to my taste but cooked to my preference. The consensus around the table was that the gnocchi was the best dish we sampled, so maybe stick to the pasta options. For dessert we got to try their homemade BASIL ice cream, which was tasty and surprising in equal measure. The service was European-style and stellar, in my opinion -- boosted the experience to 4 stars, as I already mentioned. This seems like a place that rotates its menu regularly, so I will possibly return in the future.

Nice little restaurant. Creative menu (you should try the gnocchi), great cocktails, friendly staff a must visit.
