An amazing experience. The marine biologist said she had been doing this since she was a kid and never saw what we did that day. At 1 point there 5 humpback whales and a pod of dolphins within 200 yards of boat. You can see we safely got closer at one point. This was in cape cod bay and not even where they had planned on going. We also saw Whales heading to and from where we did. Highly recommended..

The boats are amazing. The whales are so cool when you see them up close.

Incredible experience! We saw so many whales during our tour. The crew was friendly and professional. The boat was quite full. Total experience was 3+ hours. If you want to sit inside for the hour+ journey where the whales play, get there early!

Fabulous whale watching excursion. Lynsey was friendly and informative and enlightened us to the life of whales. Highly recommend Captain John Boats. Thanks for a great afternoon.

They don't stop in Provincetown but we could see it when out in the ocean.
Yes
The Dolphin Fleet Provincetown has whales spotted every day this week
Spot Hero might be a good app but there's honestly not much parking nearby- near the boats and toward Plymouth Rock.. hard to find I would try to book now..
Seperate
I would call the company directly
There's a public parking lot just up the street from Captain John's for long term parking for your 4 hour whale watch.Reasonable parking fees.
They have a website with all of the information about their various trips. https://www.captjohn.com/
Perhaps late spring when they have their calves with them
Yes
Yes you should be fine
All day parking up the street, Municipal parking 2.00 per hour, until 7 pm.
Hi they're 2-3 hours long. We had one trip cancelled due to high winds in May and our ticket prices were refunded. This is a great company!
no
Dont expect to catch any fish. Their deep sea fishing is a joke
I would call Captain John's. But they usually go in most weather.
No u can bring your own coolers and they fillet the fish or cut it way you want one dollar a fish
No. Sometimes that's just how nature works. It's unfortunate, I go every year, had a few times spottings were few.
Pretty sure they are done by now. Plan on September. Capt. John is the absolute best! Been going for years. A+
I know they do trips into Oct. You have a better chance of seeing more whales mid-summer but they have discounted tickets in Oct on apps like groupon.
Strongly encouraged. We would not have been abke to board of we didn't call. They were overbooked
There are several boats named Captain John I, II, etc. Is that what you mean?
Usually they refund you or give you credit if you call and cancel.if they cancel because of bad weather they definitely refund you . they are pretty good at that
Check Facebook or their web site.
You would need to call them. Will all depend on weather
You would need to call them
It depends on the tour you take. Three whale watch tour cam last over 4 hours
No Free parking!!!!!!!!! AND!!!!! The parking meter would only let us reserve 4 hours, would Not allow credit card app to download, or add more tim... A 4 hour boat ride resulted ina $30 ticket for parking an extra 20 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!! Use Caution!!! Seems this happens to Far too many people!!!!
Yes you can. Just make sure it's sandwiches and ypu throw the trah out. We always bring our own.
Should call them instead of asking here. Lol. You'll get final answers.
