The vets and techs are excellent, calm, capable, and gentle with our cat. The ladies at the front desk were awesome, too. We actually drive 5 minutes extra to go to GV vet because they are better than the closer vet office!

I had previously posted a negative review..See below. We recently returned to this vet for one of our cats. They have been wonderful. Phone is answered promptly Dr Stacy Michealis has been incredibly flexible, responsive and kind. We have a very ill cat and she has promptly returned phone calls regarding questions. Did not charge for second visit. All of the staff have been great. Glad to have them back as a great service for this community. I have taken my animals to this vet clinic for 20 years. 6 months ago I would have said I wouldn't go anywhere else. That they are all wonderful and caring and professional. However, something is terribly wrong there right now. They do not answer the phone, or return phone calls in a timely manner if at all. They have no plans to answer their phone in future. I finally recieved a text from Meaghan when I left a phone message indicating I would need to go somewhere else. The text had explanations and apologies but no committment to answer phones.. when I did change Vets,, They responded to the request for records that I was never a client. Little hard to take after 20 years of loyalty.This practice was sold to a corporation two years ago, with Dr Decker retiring...a year ago ? That plus pandemic has effected them adversely possibly a management issue?

Our dogs had been long time patients with another vet in town, but the desk staff had become snarky, the billing excessive, and they still wouldn't let you go inside the building with your pet, due to residual Covid policy (its currently July 2022). So we tried GVVH. I was very impressed by the clinician and vet. They were kind, passionate about their work, made a clear and successful effort to connect with both the people and animal in the room. They didn't inflate the treatment or cost, they were clear communicators, and super easy to work with. We will be coming back!
