The food was good, but not to-die-for. I would eat here again, though. Service was okay, but I wouldn't say it's excellent. Definitely local pub vibes, and that's perfectly fine with us! They DO have an excellent selection of good (and kinda rare) whiskies. It just hadn't been described that way when it was recommended to us. So, for future people, this is your local folks cooking southern dishes. Bring your family. Bring your kids if you want. Bring your out-of-town guests, too. You go for the perfectly fine food and the space to hang with your people.

This was a really nice spot! It was perfect for our party of 7 and we were seated right away despite it being Friday night. It has a great dark, but not too dark, pub atmosphere and a great patio area....Half of us ordered the pot roast (it was kinda dry by all accounts) & I ordered the shrimp & grits (freaking perfect taste, could've been served a little hotter). My guy got the fried chicken...He wasn't impressed. He said it was kinda dry and rubbery....The service was great and the bathrooms were clean. I don't live close, but if I was back in Lilburn, it would definitely be on my radar.

This review has two stars based off of the food only. Our service did not disappoint. The waitress was attentive, and friendly without being over bearing. We dined in for dinner and sat outside on the patio - which was a great vibe. This was our second time at the restaurant, with the first time being for brunch. Appetizer: Mussels with white wine sauce and bread. The sauce was barely there, sadly you had to dig under the mussels to reach it. My husband said we’ve had better mussels, but the sauce was to my liking and the mussels were large and meaty. The dish could definitely use more sauce. Entree 1 (Ribeye steak): we ordered medium and it came out rare. We sent it back and had it redone with ease, but it did come back a weird texture. My husband and I think it was frozen, which is why it was so undercooked to begin with. The flavor was sadly just not there. Entree 2 (bbq pork chop): This is a sweet dish. You have a sweet bbq sauce topped with pineapples and sweet potato fries. I think the balance could have been better - for instance using mashed potatoes instead of sweet potato fries to allow the sweetness to remain with the pork - but I’m not a chef. Just speaking from my experience. I do think the food has potential…it’s lacking something that I can’t put my finger on. And this restaurant is so close to home that I want to love it. We just will probably stick to wine and appetizers next time around. Try it out for yourself and see!

The food and the beer … unbelievable!! The French toast with the lemon cream just melted me. I felt like the food chef on Ratatouille. I had flashbacks of joy and happiness. Also the wedge was amazing if a bit small for the price. Still, I am so glad it’s a decent drive away or I would be broke and fat.
