We had a great time! The trail guides were kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We learned some of the history of the area and they gave us recommendations for what to do on the island. They were helpful for us horseback riding newbies! We highly recommend doing this!

Daufuskie Island is not private, only certain communities on the island are. You would need to bring your horses over on a barge as there is no bridge to the island. You would then need to secure accommodations for your horses as there is no public barn.
