A bittersweet day.... Beautiful and got to hang with my kid, but had a huge fight with the boyfriend as I was headed there, I thought we broke up. I think he was cheating on me while I was enjoying the water and the kids screaming and laughing. He managed to fake one more day with Mr. I'm sorry that he made me associate the forebay with his disloyalty and sneaking and lies. SO glad they have a lifeguard on duty. The bathrooms were clean, just HOT. Wish they could find a way to add soap, or someway to sanitize. Good thing I carry sanitizer. The parking was plentiful, and the man at the entrance gate was friendly, so thank you sir, for your kindness.

Rent paddle boats and my kids had a lot of fun. Price is decent and boards are in good condition.

This is one of the nicest spots to get out on the water. If you don't have your own kayak or paddle board, you can rent one. They even have paddle boats and bikes. You could also grab you floats and just enjoy the water. It is differently worth the 8 bucks

No dogs on the swimming beach and on leash everywhere else.

They close the gates at Sunset. But you could park and walk in after dark

No camping at this Park but there is in nearby Lake Oroville SRA.
The Thermalito North Forebay SRA is open 365 days/year. The Forebay Aquatic Center, which rents equipment, holds special events, etc., is open Memorial Day-Labor Day, Fr-Sa-Su 10a-7p Yes on fishing, but mostly for recreation. Better fishing on Lake Oroville.

Park Entrance Fee is $8 per car; State Parks controls that, the Forebay Aquatic Center does not.
No camping in this park but it is great for a day of play for the family. You can swim, BBQ, rent a paddle boat or many other choice boats and enjoy your family in the sun!
