0/10 I would not recommend bothering to connect with this venue. After signing a contract with them in Aug 2020 and putting down a deposit, being ghosted multiple times (via phone, email, USPS, you name it, we tried it), being told they’d fired their staff, and renegotiating a menu, I was told it would be better if we do not move forward with our wedding there. Just weeks before our date. We requested the $14,942.53 we’d paid be refunded. This request was met with hostility and the threat of lawyers. Ultimately, we hired our own lawyer, went to small claims and now Stonehouse LLC has a judgement against them that they have ignored to date.

Stonehouse is always changing. They don't always update their website but it may have current information. The best thing to do would be to call or just take the trip and if it's not what you wanted there are plenty of bars down the hill.

Why is the site said to be haunted?

Because of the Chinese workers who died in the tunnels under the city, almost all of the town buildings had tunnels leading to them, an the stone house also sits on a place we're 3 water ways cross each other.
