Receptionist and Vet were very kind and understanding at a very difficult time they gave as much time as I needed to say goodbye and didn't ask for my first born in return for services. Thank you so much for helping Allie move on to the other side.

Came here for my cat because he had a respiratory issue that they advised we come in, sat for 3 1/2 hours and watched everyone that came in after us be seen before us. No one came out to tell us what was going on or let us see him. The vet suciu was clueless. She did not act like she cared and she sounded like a salesman. A bad one might I add, when we asked what the prescription was for she said she didn't know and wouldn't work... she was hesitant when we said we just wanted the cat to get fluids so we could go home. Then we waited another half hour. There was no one at the front desk to check us out and then we waited another 15 minutes. It's now an hour ride home and 2 am... IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS DO NOT COME HERE

Kindness from establishing phone call to check out. I can't say enough about the compassionate care given my parrot on her visit. Angell was able to fit us in, last minute, having never seen my old parrot before, when she became ill and her own doctors had no availability to see her. All that and extremely inexpensive compared to my own vet. But more importantly, the knowledge and experience of the veterinarians and staff are incomparable. What I appreciated most about Angell is their availability in times of emergencies

My boyfriend went in to pick up food for our cat who we already played this place $9,000 to save our cat cuz he has urinary problems he went into buy food and the lady was so rude to him it only gave us like eight cans of food for $60 I so do not recommend this place to anyone else.. and also someone went in to pick up their dog or cats ashes and the girl was giggling these people have no compassion for animals none it's all about the money

Nope, only at the shelter locations
MSPCA does take donations but I'm not sure if they accept them at this location - this is the vet office where they see patients. You may need to call their shelters.
Hi Deborah - Thank you for your generosity! We ask that donations be dropped at our Jamaica Plain location, either at the shelter or hospital desk (if the shelter is closed) due to limited space on our courtesy shuttle that transports patients and pharmaceutical supplies between Boston and Waltham. Thank you!
I would call, last time I was there there was an "adoption center" sign but it appeared to be closed off. Bonnie gave you good suggestions above!
I went in a Saturday. They charged 175 dollars for the exam and the. 325 dollars for a blood test. Too expensive
Yes they do. I definitely recommend Dr. Noonan. He's the best small animal doctor there.
Yes, you can bring an injured bird, squirrel or bunny to Angell. Depending on the animal's condition, our clinicians will either humanely euthanize the animal or stabilize it if the prognosis is good. We have a group of volunteers ("Rescue Riders") who would then transport the animal to a rehabilitation facility.
Yes! The exotic doctors here are amazing!!
