Hi Debra, I'm sorry to hear of your situation. Unfortunately, the Rescue Mission is for men only. You may want to reach out to the Friends of the Homeless or Way Finders. I do hope you will find the assistance that you need.
I do not think that there is an age requirement. I think it depends on what you want to do. To work with the guys you may at least be an adult. But if you are part of a group who wants to volunteer that my be different. You should call the Mission and get a better answer.
Jose and he is Latino nice guy but unfair if someone brakes the rules he takes away snacks for everyone and is not fair that we all have to pay the price since last Thursday we haven't had no snacks
Hi Jennifer, thank you so much for thinking about donating your items to those who may need them! The Springfield Rescue Mission accepts gently used clothing for men, women and children. Donations are accepted Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm, 10 Mill Street, Springfield.
