They killed my rabbit, overdosed it with pain meds!!! Stay away from this place, if you love your pet and want the best for it. My rabbit was given fentynol plus other pain meds and went into cardiac arrest. Then they charged 300.00+ for CPR, which caused me so much anxiety as I was on the phone with them, hearing them counting and supposedly doing the CPR, then saying he's dead.. My feeling is my rabbit was already dead and they did this "act" on the phone to make me think they were trying to save him. Horrible place!!! My rabbit went in sitting up, wide awake, not in a traumatic way, she was getting seen for questionable bloat. .

A HUGE HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to Anna, Jessica, and VCA South Shore Quincy Animal Hospital. My dog ran away earlier today, and is now safely back home because of Anna, Jessica, and the team over at VCA South Shore Quincy Animal Hospital! I CANNOT thank you enough! Thank you for all that you've done to have Mochi safely back home with us!!!!!!

As a grieving pet owner and my cat being patient , i am totally disgusted with VCA of Quincy for their lack of compassion at such a difficult time! My Bengal cat Porsche is 15.5 years old and suddenly stopped eating last Monday, I waited until Wednesday and called VCA and was told to take her to the sister property in Weymouth or to vet urgent care. I closed the latter $670 later was told her labs were all within normal range and her kidney function was fine ( i was told by VCA in June of 2020 that Porsche had stage II renal failure) so this made no sense to me. I called VCA on Thursday and asked if I could have the urgent care send them the notes from weds evening and was giving an email to forward them, which I did on Friday, I called on Friday to confirm VCA received them and asked if Porsche doctor could call me to help in my decision for next steps. Porsche at this point hasn’t eaten for 5 days, I was told that her doctor was not in but Amanda reception would see if another doctor could call me. After waiting a few more hours I called again to ask if there was a nurse or anyone I could speak with and was told to take Porsche to ER once again, I explained I simply just needed to speak with someone that could guide me in the proper direction. No one ever reached out to me , today is Sunday and I am having Porsche Euthanized . I am beside myself being that the VCA was Porsche vet since I purchased her at 5 months old and their lack of compassion and or concern is pretty unprofessional. I am very connected in the Quincy community and will not give a recommendation for the VCA

Always super helpful, even with behavioral issues. They have helped us keep our rescue healthy since he was 3 weeks old!
