Came out extremely choppy. My hair looks awful

I got my hair cut expecting it to be thinned, layered, and a trim of my curtain bangs. What I got was something that looks like what a toddler would do to her hair with safety scissors. There is a huge chunk on both sides that are a whole inch shorter than my hair. It's not even to shape the face. It's the whole front parts of my hair. And it really doesn't blend in my hair. I would get it fixed but it would leave me looking like Dora the explorer. I want a refund
