We took our Shiba-Inu here for a well checkup and to get his nails trimmed. Suffice it to say, it was the first and last time. First, the doctor talks with a heavy accent so it's hard to understand him. Second, our dog got shots we did not ask for, including a Bordatella shot (we have never boarded our dog) and a shot that we specifically indicated in the intake forms our dog had already received. The final straw came when they took him into a separate room to do his bloodwork and nail trimming. This was uncomfortable enough, but when we heard a loud yelp from the waiting room, the matter was settled. This place charges a 10% fee if you use a credit or debit card. I have NEVER seen a medical professional do this. That translates to hundreds of dollars! What century are these people living in that they think people still carry around that much cash?! Our dog was out of commission for a full 2 days after the shots. This has never happened to him in 11 years of vet visits. And these people had the gall to try to lure us back, calling later saying our dog's bloodwork had been done incorrectly and that he needed to come back to get it done again. Even though they claimed there would be no charge, I'm sure they would've "found something" that would require more tests and who-knows-what-else. Sadly, this is one of those vets that clearly cares more about profits than animals. It's twisted. Find another vet.

We have been clients of Dr. Zahran for many years and he has provided high quality care for all our dogs and cats at a fair cost. Recently my 18 year old chihuahua-mix Maurice needed dentistry for a full mouth extraction of rotten teeth. Dr. Zahran advised frankly on the possibility that Maurice would not survive the surgery, given his heart condition, but Maurice came through the surgery successfully and now is in great shape with no more teeth pain! I trust Dr. Zahran and his caring staff with the health of my pets.

DR. Z KILLED MY DOG! I never write reviews but I felt like I needed to write this in hopes this helps anyone AVOID this place. Dr. Z performed a mass removal and talked me into spaying my 8yo lab. She was eating and perfectly fine besides her mass before the surgery. Immediately after surgery she went downhill. Incision never healed up and was bloody the entire time after surgery. Brought issue up with Dr. Z during visit to take stitches out. Dr. Z literally took packets of sugar that you would get at starbucks and sprinkled it all over the incision and wrapped her up. As you can imagine this did not help at all. Soon after that she refused to eat AT ALL, could not get up on her own and had black tar like blood coming out of her rectum and nose. My baby ended up passing away in my arms only weeks after her surgery with Dr. Z. Being skeptical of Dr. Z's surgery I talked to numerous vets since this has happened and every single vet has stated the black tar like blood was from a botched surgery. I understand accidents can happen but when bringing up my concerns to Dr. Z the fact his only solution was to sprinkle sugar on her is actually ridiculous. Obviously, Dr. Z has denied he has done anything wrong. I had vets tell me to my face literally nothing else would have caused her to have black tar blood only a few weeks after surgery when she was perfectly fine before surgery. IN TOTAL I PAID OVER $3,000 CASH FOR DR.Z TO MURDER MY BABY PLEASE AVOID DR. Z AT ALL COSTS. HE HONESTLY SHOULD NOT BE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS WHERE HE HAS KILLED OTHER PETS. INCOMPETENT HUMAN BEING AND NEEDS TO BE STRIPPED OF HIS LICENSE. DISGRACE, AVOID! RESPONE TO OWNER: I mentioned the mass removal. You conveniently left out the TAR LIKE BLOOD coming out of Chanel. Re-read regarding black tar like blood and other VETS, CARDIOLOGISTS and ONCOLOGISTS stating sudden death was result of botched/bad surgery. Also, I was told by Dr. Z that this was not cancer and that we should do surgery asap before a biopsy. You mentioned the biopsy stated she had a couple months left. Chanel died weeks after surgery, not months. She was perfectly fine and you could not tell anything was wrong with her before surgery. Had we done the biopsy first I would have elected to not have done surgery if all she had was a couple months left. The fact you insisted surgery needed to be done asap before the biopsy and then proceeded to botch it was why she suffered and passed away weeks after. Why was I told it was not cancer before doing the biopsy and that surgery should be performed asap if the safer and cheaper option would have been to wait for the biopsy report to see if it was cancer? Obviously, so you can upsell your customer and do an unnecessary procedure. Let's also not forget about you spaying her at the same time when she was already 8 years old?! Check all the other reviews not just on google where many pets have been killed by Dr. Z from simple neuter/spay procedure complications. Honestly, very alarming...
