I would not recommend Tropical Palms in Kissimmee Fl. We have been coming to this campground for at least 20 years. We have always brought our golf cart we used do to my husband being handicapped. I informed that I would be doing the same even though we would be renting a cabin. We were told there would be no issues and agreed on a price and made a down payment. Upon arrival we were informed of an additional $80 for putting our golf cart trailer in storage. We have never had to do this before and was not told this when I made the reservation. Their website does not include this as an additional charge as well. I asked to speak with a manager and waited approx an hour n half. The staff kept telling me the manager was in meeting. The clerk stated that the manager suggested to solve the issue for the clerk to refund our deposit since there was a misunderstanding. They told us to find other accommodations. The clerk could not issue a refund at that time do to computer issues however stated that it would be refunded and I would see the credit in 3-5 business days. Well no credit/refund. I feel like he was just saying this to get rid of me. I called numerous times to speak with a manager. Heath and Nikki Joy were always busy and never-never returned my call. Very poor customer service!!! We did not cancel our reservation-they told us to go somewhere else. It was the manager Heath’s idea for us to go elsewhere. We did not cancel. We wanted to stay at Tropical Palms but they would not to anything to help us or work with us. They lost a long time customer but they don’t care. What’s one family right. I suggest if they offer a refund don’t leave until it is in your account. Very sad way of doing business, and very unprofessional not returning calls. I’m very dissatisfied!! Celebration suites is right up the road and very accommodating. Don’t stay at tropical palms

First time staying here and I must say, I will repeat this stay. All the staff and locals are welcoming, friendly and social. This place is not only beautiful, but very well kept and maintained. Pool area is beautiful, clean, spacious, it has showers, bathrooms and a lot of space for multiple people to catch a great tan. This is a kid-friendly place for those who have little ones. They have a playgroup, volleyball area, basket ball, and miniature golf ⛳ section. They have a little store inside the lobby. Also, soon as you leave the site, there is nothing but fun things to do for adults and kids. Escape rooms, Fun Spot park filled with rides, food trucks, restaurants.... All within one minute from leaving the site. I recommend this place!! I stayed here with my teenagers and they loved it.

No they do not. O!d Town is within walking distance. If you want to go to Disney, public transportation is also within walking distance.
I don't know. However the front desk phones were not working yesterday 08/06/22 per front desk person.
They have a sewage system
I've seen quite a few tow dollies at sites. Not sure the parks exact policy, but as long as it's on the site and not in the grass is what I've noticed.
You have to call their customer service to help you
I will bring this to the attention of the NOC.
There were kids on the playground Monday afternoon . We are parked right in front of playground. I don't see any closed signs

We were there 12/15-26/20 and they did not. I think it was because of Covid but I'm not sure. Lovely facility, very clean and the staff was very helpful. We found a young lady to take care of our dog and she also took us and picked us up for days in the parks.

It all depends on the Seasons and if you are booking on or near a Holiday/ Spring break.. There prices are very fare all year round and a grey place to stay..
Hello Amy you can call and fill out an application for a 6 plus month stay depending on the lot size I believe starts at around $750.00 a month. A great place to stay at I Love it there
There are not campfire rings at the site, you must have your own.
Not sure about a shuttle we hired s car which gave us plenty of freedom. Managers special was quite cheap
Dont know i was there in Sept
Unsure about schools
The laundry uses card you need to get at office
There are different types of sites to choose from and they all cost way too much. Not worth the price

I think you can fish but I think its catch and release
Yup, there are 24/7 gate personnel, but they rely in the list given them by the office, so contact the office during office hours
I have no clue. But my hubby says yes

They have spots that you can lease. I think you can do a lease on their manufactured home sites (that come with a home on it) as well.
Have to pay for it at campsites...very poor reception Free in clubhouse/pool area
Depends on the site you rent and how long. We have an annual standard spot and love it, had some extra room in the back since we are against the nature preserve as we had a park model and needed extra space. The front desk was super helpful in picking out a spot.

Also depends on what month you are planning to stay...rates vary, a new company just bought that resort "Thousand Trails" and the think they are going to get Disney resort prices...lol we will see how long doubling your rates is going to last!
