I'm so glad to leave a review today. We found Sweeney Merrigan during a Google search and the reviews were the principal reason for contacting them. Peter was available since the beginning for any questions we had. During the case he used to answer promptly or return calls and e-mails in a shorter period of time. Thank you Peter and staff for your attention and dedication!

I never thought I would be in a position to write a review for a personal injury attorney. I had an injury requiring surgery. Unfortunately, the surgery did not go as planned and resulted in being out of work for almost a year, with the uncertainty of ever returning at all. Before sitting down with Tucker I had a meeting with an attorney from a different law firm. After leaving his office I felt like the stereotypical lawyer perception was true. He wanted me to exaggerate my injuries. I felt like he didn't want me to make a full recovery. He mentioned going on disability and that's when I had enough. At the time I was a 38 year old, active guy, with a demanding job and getting my life back was the only thing I wanted to do. I was feeling depressed and useless around the house. Watching my wife do everything from taking care of the kids, to taking out the trash, not to mention the physical pain of my injury. I didn't know what to do or even who to talk to about it. A good friend referred me to Sweeney and Merrigan, Tucker's firm. My wife and I drove out to Boston not knowing what to expect. Tucker took us right into his office, honest to God, I really felt like he was concerned and truly cared about my story. He was super compassionate and made us both feel really comfortable. Tucker didn't assume anything, he wasn't pushy and he explained the entire process and what he would do, if I decided to hire him. Before my wife and I got back into the car to drive home we made the decision to move forward with Sweeney Merrigan. I called him on the ride home and asked him what the next step was as we moved forward. Tucker explained, do everything the doctors and physical therapists tell you and get yourself better. Over the next year I did exactly that. I did everything I could to get myself back to my life and the job I love. Tucker was there every step of the way. He periodically checked in on my progress with genuine concern. Once my medical outcome was complete, or in my situation, as good as it was going to get, things started to move much quicker. I had so many questions and Tucker answered the phone every time I called. Tucker brought on two colleagues, Ben and Kyle, to strengthen our case. I felt like these three guys were in total control the whole time. Almost able to predict what was coming next and what the defense was going to do. These guys are the most caring, respectful, bull dogs I have ever met. I only use that description because they never wavered from what they thought was right and fair for me. All the while, letting me know the decision was completely mine to take a settlement or go to trial. I'm fully aware this is a long story but if you're looking for an attorney I would 100% recommend sitting down with these fine gentlemen. I was completely out of my element and didn't know where to turn. I had know idea if I would ever work again and how I would help provide for my family. Although my body didn't make a full recovery and I wish my situation didn't happen at all. The amount of money Tucker and his team recovered for me and my family was significantly more than I expected. It was enough to change our lives. I would absolutely recommend these guys to everyone who might find themselves in an unfortunate situation. They can't fix your body, but certainly can take a lot of stress out of a very stressful problem. Don't keep looking. Just hire them; they wont let you down!
