We came back after having dinner here a year ago Experience was very disappointing Last year I would have given the restaurant a 5 star review This year not so much The waiter kept apologizing from beginning onwards did not add to the experience The waiter mixed up the bottle of wine (Almost served us a more expensive bottle, we found out in time and proceeded to agree on the other bottle, the next bottle we ordered they came by to suggest another bottle (reason not very clear) we proceeded with the bottle that we ordered and loved it We had to ask for the bread We ordered started, main and shared a desert The froie gras was very very small My companions main was disappointing amount to be the main course Towards the end of the evening another waitress stepped in and she was really great Not sure I would recommend They do have a fun speak easy in the back hence the 3rd star

Devin was a marvelous chef. Its' hard to describe his combination of both texture and flavor in his crab filled pepper dish. Its one that you will wish to save for last, if only to keep the taste in your mouth.

Troquet is a gourmet American restaurant with French influences, great for foodies and wine lovers. One of the best restaurants in Boston for great wine and great wine service. They know wine. They use the proper glassware. They serve it at the proper temperature. The prices are lower than the same wine at other restaurants. The food is excellent. They have a great selection of cheeses. This restaurant is a gem!
