Always an awesome experience at the Carsonville Hotel. We love sitting out back at the deck area or under the trees. Also a great place to motorcycle ride too which is what we do. Also snowmobiling state trails on the mountain then a trip down to the Carsonville Hotel for some great food on the snowmobiles has been done by friends and myself years past. Never have I had a bad experience and we love the friendly atmosphere and staff.

I couldn't wait to take a friend here. I was there many years ago and it was amazing all the way around and as many know, it has a great reputation. We were very disappointed this visit. We went for a late lunch, were not acknowledged upon entering so just took a booth. There were 3 people sitting at the bar and one person behind the bar. 5-7 minutes later we were brought menu's. We eventually ordered. My friends food had a human hair in it. We opted not to complain and request a replacement as we feared what they may do to the replacement in the kitchen before bringing it out. (Spit, etc.) Two other apparent "regulars" came in and sat at the bar while we were there. We decided the other folks at the bar may have been owners/staff as they seemed to be discussing their drink menu. The language while customers are sitting 15 feet away - WOW!! Unbelievable!! We weren't offended but certainly thought that it was VERY unprofessional. During our meal, someone called in to see if they had wings. Unfortunately, due to supply chain issues, they did not. However, the staff member that spoke with the customer that called in spent 10 minutes complaining to the other two regulars and the other staff about the person that called in. I've decided this might be an acceptable place to go if you're a regular and want to stop for a draft but otherwise, forget it! I would recommend choosing another establishment. And if you have to drive more than 10 minutes to get there, don't waste your time or gas.

Negative-The person who greeted us was off-putting. Apparently, you're supposed to make reservations to eat there. The plates they used for the salads were to small, and the ones they used for the entrees were to big. There were no prices …

Questions & Answers

Are pets allowed? Our dog enjoys riding with us (we have a sidecar), he's small. We'd like to ride out and have lunch on the patio this summer but wanted to check if we could bring him along.

Hi Diana, as the new owner I will say that we are indeed pet friendly as long as the pet is on chain/leash and under control, not causing a nuisance. Oh, and we'd also appreciate the children running around the yard not having to worry about stepping on a land mine, that's pretty important LOL. Bring him along!
