Seeking Perspective

Beautiful location and clean and cute rooms. I see the reviews on how dated it is but Dad's are here today and gone tomorrow. There is no point spending hundreds of thousands of dollars like the chain hotels do to remodel. If it was run down I'd understand but it is far from run down. Everything is in excellent condition and very clean. It was cute and had character. If you have the technology to write a review saying it's dated than you have the technology to review the photos and reviews of a hotel prior to check in. If you don't like the decor prior to check in. Then don't check in. It's pretty easy. This is not a corporate owned hotel and I loved our stay.

Website says they are pet friendly but this isn't exactly the case as "pet friendly" in this instance means a "small dog under 20 lbs" If that's what you mean then say what you mean. Don't advertise as something you're not

Quaint, clean, beautiful view. Delightful experience front desk staff was friendly and sweet. The room was very cozy and clean. Had a great view the over all experience was pleasant and I would definitely stay again.

We stayed a couple of nights, and can generally confirm the other reviews. The place is dated, but that's mostly okay. The staff is lovely. There's a library of VHS tapes you can borrow, which cracked me up. The price was right, plenty of parking, convenient to everywhere. No complaints.
