I had a wonderful experience staying here. Accommodation are clean and very well kept. Staff are friendly, respectful and very helpful. I was very pleased that there was no “check out time” instead of having to sit in my car to wait for my husbands release (which was 4:30) I was able to stay in my room until he called. Thank you very much for my wonderful experience.

Wonderful place. So loving caring & helpful to the families staying there. The house is so clean & very nicely decorated. The staff is very helpful. There is always coffee & food to eat. God Bless this place. Thank you for all you do for all who enter here.

Did not have a problem at all with parking at the Fisher House. They have their own parking area.
Same thing you would bring to a hotel. Food would stay downstairs in common area.
The fisher house is a wonderful place but the patient has to be treated in the V A medical system to qualify.
If you have already done the interview and gotten your key card, you should be able to drop your things off. If you haven't, you might call them up and ask if you can go ahead and drop your food by so it won't ruin. They are awesome folks and do all they can to help.
I am not sure you will have to call for availability. They will let you know at the last minute.
