I came here last year and I loved it! It is a great time of the the year to go make friends, and have lots and lots of fun. Horseback riding is my favorite thing to do, so is swimming, drawing, and more. And Camp Dovewood has it all. My favorite part was when went on trips. It was my first year so it wasn’t the greatest. But I have learned what it is like and I know what’s to come now. I am really excited to see Camp Dovewood again this summer!

Great place for young women to grow and learn!

My daughter learned a lot about horses and achieving a strong belief system. They are very good about teaching independent thinking and critical thinking skills. Lots of crafts, and outdoor sports/activities!! Downside is the meals served have little to no nutrition value..ie: carbs, refined white flower, more carbs.and lots of sugar expect your kiddo to get constipated. Some of the living quarters are beyond rustic with no ac!! I felt safe having my daughter there and if she desires she will return.
