Pastries are relatively cheap but not as good as the pork buns you'd find in NY. I got the curry bun and classic pork bun and they were both just average. But, the little bakery is set up nice and cute and staff were quick and helpful. There's also no seating offered, so, y'all tourists will have to find a place to sit on the street or eat on the go.

We LOVE this bakery!! If you’re a matcha/ube enthusiast you NEED to check this place out. They have all sorts of matcha and ube desserts that are so so delicious! Our favorites are their cream puffs which are HUGE and so fluffy and perfectly sweet. Their roll cakes are also great and easy to take as a snack. Some other things we liked are their mochis and cheesecakes!

Bao Bao Bakery catered for a community learning event near Chinatown that was organized by Beth Israel Hospital. The assorted buns had different fillings inside them and they were all very good. Some were sweet and others were savory. They were all individually wrapped.
