AVOID this place!!! Honestly it is an ok experience up until you want to cancel. Although it does get very packed in the evenings, it’s not a big deal. But they will do everything and anything to try to get you not to cancel. They will even do shady things such as say “only a manager can cancel it,” “you can only cancel it during the week,” etc. it was the worst experience ever trying to cancel my membership. If you plan on using this gym temporary I would advise you go elsewhere.

Horrible service, not taking into consideration clients request and needs, horrible old broken and dirty machines, I left the country and asked to cancel my membership but you kept charging me saying that my membership is for 1 year even though an employee said I am able to cancel another one said I am not so its a whole mess and ridiculous experience, upon registration you charged me 60$ extra I called you and was told just sorry but we cant refund it the only thing we can do is to deduct from your upcoming monthly fee, which is so ridiculous. Never taking a membership here again.

Pros: Cheap especially if you got in for $10 a month. Parking always available. 24 Hours. The staff are ok. There’s a dry sauna. They actually kick out homeless folks especially late at night. Cons: cheap gym means maintenance is almost non existent. The water machine for bottles are almost always broken. Most of the people that goes there just wanted to show off well most are kids that’s why - those wearing socks and crocs to workout and pajamas lol yeah that’s hip and hot. Those people that hangs out for hours that crowds the small gym. It’s a small gym and it does get crowded at peak hours. You get those people that uses the sauna as if it’s their own private sauna who puts stupid oil that they don’t even care about if others are allergic or don’t mint the irritant. Since you get people that are cheap and doesn’t know gym etiquette the gym is always gross. The people that works there barely cleans they rather talk to their friends than actually work. To be honest the atmosphere if you’re really into working out is sub par and I really don’t recommend it. It’s an ok gym it’s just most people are annoying those ones that has tripods or cameras hogging machines telling people that they are filming lol and they’re the obese and unfit ones. If you want to film without people bothering you set your own gym. If you just want to hang out and talk to people and not get any workout done and think talking for 3 hours is working out this gym if for you. If you’re that person that thinks dropping weight and machines so loud that the entire gym is shaking this gym is for you. Seriously, dropping plates or banging machines so hard that as if it’s almost broken doesn’t add a speck of muscle at all.

I decided to give this gym another shot, since my gym doesn't open till 0700 on the weekends. Disappointed yet again, not sure what the deal is here but, this is not how a gym should operate. To start off the weights in the free weight section are scattered everywhere and not racked where they are suppose to be. The weight plates on the squat racks seem to be thrown wherever is easiest instead being racked and placed in the correct place. The locker room was in horrible shape. Toilet paper was on the floor, the walls in the bathroom were stained black, both sinks had no soap available to clean your hands. And lastly there seems to be zero emphasis on wiping equipment after each use. But this is the environment that is allowed so it will continue until someone does something to CHANGE it. It's unfortunate because overall it's a decent gym with great potential. Hopefully management will do something about the unsatisfactory operating conditions at Crunch Northridge.

To answer your Question again as of 4-24-2019 they do have child care again theres a room filled with toys and what not. I dont have children so I didnt ask or double checked but it seems like it's back.
They start at $ 10 a month (more initiation and 39 a year of fees). That includes access to a gymnasium and does not include classes or towels. And from there, the price goes up.
