Beautiful piece of westfield history, I definitely recommend looking into the history if the building! Its very interesting. A very lovely and quiet library.

I enjoy coming here with my kids... they have a lot of planned activities for kids (in the Boys and Girls Library part) and summer reading program. The building is beautiful (1800's) and includes an area to exhibit art. They do have a museum as well but I am not sure it has been open due to the pandemic. Worth seeing all the same. Helpful staff and central location. Parking is on street as well as a parking lot (accessed from Court street - which has a ramp/wheelchair accessible entrance).

Hi Debra, if you have a library card you don't need anything else. If you need a library card you can stop in to get one, but you need a valid form of ID (more info at westath.org/policies/borrowing-policies). With your card you can download the Overdrive or Libby apps (same collection, different interface) to access the CWMARS collection. You can also borrow from some of the other Massachusetts library networks. Lastly, as a Mass. resident you can also get a Boston Public Library e-card to get access to their collection. Please stop in the library if you need any help along the way. Thanks.

It depends on which nook you are using. Newer nooks can download ebooks through Overdrive, but older nooks may not be able to any longer.
