After being completely closed for two years with volunteers using the time to make big improvements, it has just opened for two Saturdays a month. Good overview of local history with outstanding displays and newly built ramp.

THe society is open the first and second Saturdays of the month from noon to 4 pm starting May through October. We are also open by appointment.

I am seeking relatives of, or others who have knowledge of the life and times of, John Putnam: Band leader, Barber and Underground Railroad Engineer in Greenfield Massachusetts My purpose is to write a novel based upon this local Folk Hero.

I have a carved back Mahogany couch that I purchased from one of the antique dealers in Greenfield. back in 1977 I was told it belonged to an artist from the town, desperate to get more information, can I speak to someone there about this?

I have many family photos that were taken in the late 1940s at a place called "Green Meadows". There is an old, large, White House in the background. Is/was this a place in Greenfield? Thank you.
