You’re better off signing up at Bigger Gym !!! My experience lasted a Day, I had an issue where i had to move From my Home to A further place (they dont have many locations ) and I literally had just signed up the previous Day, Guess what, not even a partial refund on the signup fee thats 243$ Lost for one day cause i signed some piece of paper to be at the gym. Thats a 24 months membership at planet Fitness keep that in mind , before signing up and dont get Baited into signing up for a longer Term. Life’s unpredictable, Besides that the place is only ok. Not worth the cost however theres too many Cheaper gyms around. I’m confused there still in business.

The place is not a nice place to be. It has the most negative atmosphere that you would not love to be around. I recently used one of the bathroom for shower and within seven minutes I was told to get out. The staff was knocking the door very hard and shouted that I should get out. I asked what was really going on to act like that and the staff told me " Oh you just got here, so you are fine". It was was harassment of its kind. When I got out the staff told me that she was sorry because some people stay very long. I respect their rules in terms of time limits, but knocking and shouting was aimed at minority. I am African, it was easy for them to have such discrimination targeting people of color and minority. It is a shame to have such a reaction for just using bathroom, knowing that I am a member and pay my dues every month. If some people use bathroom for long time, it is easy to let those people know instead of acting like inhumane. I would not recommend anyone to go through the same harassment I went through.

I travel a lot for work, it's part of why I love Anytime Fitness. When going here however I was followed by the attendant on staff who aggressively started barraging me with questions as to "Why are you here, are you from around here" Then …Thank you for your feedback and I apologize that you had a negative experience at our location. Since you are not a member at our location, we have had quite a bit of non San Leandro members causing issues at our location and that is the reason why our manager’s guard is up. We will definitely use your feedback as a tool to improve our customer service moving forward. Sorry again we made you feel uncomfortable.
