My experience working here wasn't a positive one. I was a packer. They need to find a better way to train employees in a more organized fashion, as I was still learning things 1.5 months in, stuff of which I was never taught from the beginning. Very unorganized management, severely overstaffed (they'll have you be a tote runner or water spider if all stations are full or it's not busy), overly strict, I could go on and on. Communication also was an issue from managers to employees. Understandably, even by department, it's a lot to handle. However, especially during meetings, there needs to be a way to improve the communication system. Nobody really could hear what the managers were saying at the meetings.. maybe add visual aids? I'm giving it 2 stars because everyone I did work with, even my area manager and PA's, were very friendly and provided help when you needed it. However, and I'm sorry, but I would not recommend working here unless you need something short term. I can now see why amazon has one of the highest turnover rates in the country...
