Great place to work if you have abusive tendencies, you can get it all out here and you will be protected. Amazing people like kendrick, who touches kids and abuses his power consistently, the staff will abuse their power and physically abuse kids but will never come close to beijg held accountable. If you are a domestic abuser give your wife a break and take it out on some troubled kids AND get paid for it. Great place.

The staff and other people in the program were incredibly nice I always felt safe in the day center and cbat as a matter of fact I felt that the connections I made were long lasting and the skills I learned in the program were and are incredibly helpful

I had a terrible experience at wayside the people never kept track of anything they constantly would lock me out of my room and lost my medicine luckily I was only there for 3 months, And at their out patient program they have kids sit in a cafeteria from 9 to 1:30 and teach us absolutely nothing and the only good workers there were Laura and Jordan but I couldn’t stand Brad, he was so passive aggressive. 1 star because of this terrible experience

Questions & Answers

Wayside is absolutely terrible, the staff that stay with these kids 24/7 have no respect for the children that stay there. The three woman who run the three programs for girls are absolutely terrible people who have no actual care for the kids

My daughter is currently there but will be home soon. She has told me what goes on there and I have heard how they talk to the kids. That is unacceptable because these kids are already having a hard time and don't need anymore negativity on their shoulders. I will be glad when my kid comes home

This program is the worst program, I highly suggest JRI programs they are much more helpful then these places there has been multiple suicides at wayside and they’re still up and running

Re recently? They also rarely follow MAP med policies seen during my sons recent stay. Lost his medication.. allowed him to be assaulted and did nothing.. there is one incredible staff member on his unit and I really hope they get more invested people like him or he finds a better place.

What is going on with building a group home.? How many residents will there be adult or kids?
