You need to start making appointments to get your license renewed or everything else
Mike bell
Appointments suck. They are non accommodating. So much for public service.

Because I had an appointment, no wait. But, last week was a nightmare. "NO walk in service" At any local RMV. And let me tell you, they are NOT busy!!! Another sham by the government employees. Not working hard, and will get an amazing pension. What happened to "for the people"?

I went to renew my registration at the Plymouth RMV. I was quite concerned about how to get my car registration renewed as the lease company never processed the renew. Never fun driving around unregistered! He basicly sa e no problem. Took the registration I had, looked up info, geberated new registration, I paid the fee annd was on my way. Less than 5 minutes! He was extremely helpful and personable. This was simply the best, most positive experience I have ever had at the RMV Thank you, Alan

The total cost for a license is 50 dollars and you can use a debit card
Yeah
You can actually get replacement plates for around $20, I believe. Try going to a location to ask one of the customer service reps, they can help you out. They are totally awful over the phone in terms of wait times, and every time I've called they've talked to me for about 2 minutes before asking me to visit a location in person, haha. Good luck, and please let us know how you make out.
Absolutely
Yes
You should receive an email within 1-2 days after scheduling the road test. When i signed up for mine I got an email from the Registry of Motor Vehicles saying that my road test transaction is complete and the test date is confirmed.
Yes, you can bring her birth certificate and bill showing proof of residency in order to get her learner's permit
No
No you need an appointment
No you have your permat
You will have to Register your vehicles for new plates! Of course call your Insurance company with your new change of address ist. They will fill out registry form, email it to you, which you will print from a cp or staples with the proof of insurance stamp on it that you bring with you. You will put your drivers license # & sign the form . You have to go online to mass Rv & get an appt.or read if your allowed to walk in with your needs! If you have to get new licenses you will need an appt. You do that online and thats another story! Welcome to mass! Good luck!
yes, if you want a shorter wait time when you go in
1 When it comes down to how prior you can renew your license before the expiration date, you can renew it up to 1 year before
Hello Franklin When it comes down to using your birth certificate, you can use an original copy of your birth certificate with one exception. If your birth certificate is from Puerto Rico, it needs to be issued after July 10th of 2010. If it is not you need to order a new copy of your birth certificate from Puerto Rico.
What exactly are you looking for?
Yes. You can change it online and if you use your license for something, you can tell them it's not the right one
Hi I don't know which area you live but it is a little difficult to do this online so what I did I did go online there are some steps that you need to take my suggestion to you to get your mom and ID get a real ID and all depends what are you live try again to go online and make the appointment and whatever area you live in take screenshots that you did try to make the appointment for your mom and they will accept that as long as you have all the information you need for your mom again get the real ID not a regular one the real ID I hope that helped again go online do the best you can to schedule an appointment and take screenshots and when you get to the registry let them know I hope that was helpful Terri.😁 have s good day good luck. And excuse the typos
Not busy
Sometimes they take walk-ins but your best bet is to make an appointment.
I saw state provided vehicles being used when I recently went, but not 100% sure
I recently had mine renewed. I made an online appointment to go in person.
I believe so but I'd make an appointment it moves everything along faster
If you check the website it will tell you.
Yes, you need to go to the website and make an appointment.
yes, but plan for a longer wait if you do not have an appointment
The registry is what I deem " Organized Confusion". Go to website and go to replace your Class D learners permit. It's a pain, but if your printing it on your printer make extra copies just in case.
Because of the covid-19 out break things are slow I'd give it a few days or call them mine took 5 months
If you just tell them at the registry you made a mistake they will give you an amendment form to fill out and bring back at your convenience at which point they will change the information and you'll get a new title in the mail within six weeks
You have to go on to the RMV website to schedule an appointment. Best time to try to get is the earliest due to having to wait.
need to change address other will not go thru
It's listed under required documentation on the RMV site.
Yes you have to bring in the documentation again
If you feel as though she were discriminated after failing the road test multiple times you should file with the main branch in Boston, but also with the Plymouth branch. But what you should also inquire about what parts of the test she failed at. If there are common denominators, such as 3-point turns, parallel parking failing on each test, then maybe she is not being discriminated against. She could just use some practice at the wheel with parental supervision.

The registry is operating on an appointment only due to Covid. No walk in service.
If you check daily you may be able to grab a cancelation. My Son tried today and is being tested in Brockton tomorrow.
When u get there you check in with guard up front . Then u wait in your car for a text to go in
Not sure what it looks like.. But all forms are available online... Expect a couple week wait right now during covid.
check your email, it will give you all the information you need and you will need it for your appointment. mine went in my spam so don't forget to check that if you can't find it.
They send you an email to the email address you gave, you open it and confirm from there.
I know it's frustrating these days and I'm going through the same situation myself. The important thing is that you have to "follow" the instructions to a T,..and once you're in the "correct page" and you "choose" the date that's available to you, and you "set up" the appointment,..you should receive automatically an email confirmation to the email address that you have given them. That email will have the date, and time of your appointment. Like I've mentioned,..it's "very important" to "follow" the instructions very carefully in order to have the appointment correctly set in the system. I hope this helps and makes some "sense" and good luck.
You have to make an appointment online at mass rmv. Appointments are hard to come by so keep checking. Also they may have extended your license automatically
You need an appt. They are only doing some services. Not all at this time.
No
Need birth certificate and SS# card and a recent bill or checking account statement
Do you have a passport? That stands instead of fancy license.
Call them
Birth certificate if no passport and a copy of social security number
I don't know I'm not vain.
Go on the RMV website
Yes
7 - 14 days
Damn they charge to change address. That's new. At DMV they don't redo liicense for new address.
Yes you can. But if your license is expired by 2 years you will have to take permit test and road test.
Yes i think its 25$ for the year. You get a sticker to put on
You need very specific forms of identification to obtain the real I'd license.
I know if your license has expired for 4 years you do. If an out of state licence is expired for 2 years you have to do permit road test. Suspended license you should be fine once the suspension is over. As long as its not 4 years.
They will.probably give you a duplicate and new lic.#.
Go on the website that will tell you. May be as easy as easy as ordering a new one. But its MA so it will probably cost you $$$$$
It all depends on what you have for business with the Registry
Online should do it, all automated. Follow the prompts and they will direct you online, or go in person best bet.
Thank you. Can I do it online and what is the cost?
no
please answer what is required?
Best to call the 1-800 number to make your appointment easier that way
There is a public computer that you can use to print everything you need.
Orginal permit, it will cost 15.00 to reprint it. You can do cash, check, debit card or Credit card.
Yes. You can drive it for a short time until you get it registered, and once you register it in MA then you can get an inspection sticker for MA. My advice is just get it registered here as soon as you can, but you can totally drive it in any other state you want.
Yes, you can fill out a road test application upon arrival! Please bring a proof of lawful presence with you such as a valid passport or your birth certificate just in case it isn't already in the system.
As long as you are a AAA member, according to their website you can indeed renew your registration at a AAA office.
Not any more, all are 9 am to 5 pm
Middle of the week....Monday's and Friday's tough
You can go back and get another temp license at the nearest Rmv Branch to you, but call customer service number and they might be able to tell you if the license was return to the Rmv headquarters and they can remail it back
If I'm not mistaken I think u do
If your 20 then once you pass the permit test you can schedule the road test instantly
