I recently went to the Woonsocket high school to register my friend’s daughter as I had to translate for her. I had previously called to know if they had an interpreter there, and some rude woman gave me attitude on the phone! I found that very inappropriate and I knew she was lying because I’ve been told by several people that there is a very nice young lady in the office that speak Spanish very well. I asked the lady about her and she rudely said she isn’t an interpreter and she’s not here today. When we got to the school later that day, I noticed the nice secretary people told me about was helping a Spanish speaking student with a personal issue she had. The secretary by the front door assumed we didn’t speak any English and told us to go around to see her. That was rude, and very discriminatory!!! We walked over to the other secretary and she smiled right away, she was so friendly, polite and patient (We had a lot of questions). It was a relief for my friend to know there was someone there she’d be able to talk to once her daughter started school. That secretary deserves 5 starts!! Good job Woonsocket dept for having people like her to help out with great attitude

Yes. Download state form of the internet, this is filled out by employer (intent to employ). Bring this form to Woonsocket ed where your child signs and is returned to employer. You have to call ahead and make an appointment, still covid rules.
Probably not open today because it's VJ day. Call tomorrow. They could have copies ready for you and you could pick them up. They close early in the summer. So plan to arrive by 3.
