Cute and quiet station, though the pedestrian bridge is closed for structural issues. There is essentially nothing around the station, just marshlands, so no wonder why this is the least used heavy rail MBTA subway station. Also it is very easy to fare evade as the Bennington street entrance emergency exit was wide open.

This station is so relaxing considering how many trees are engulfing the platforms as well as the generally quiet nature of the station

Sad it is run down and no longer the amazing place it once was! Still has the feel of grandeur and it is packed during big race days like Kentucky Derby day where they simulcast the races. I worked the race day & still had a great time being there! If you get the chance GO before it no longer exists
