Great hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Hotel was immaculately clean. My family stayed in a suite and it was perfect for our needs. The hot breakfast was a huge bonus with teenage boys. Highly recommend!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. I travel a lot, having stayed in hotels more than 50 nights this year already. Sad to say that my nights with Hilton brand hotels have severely diminished because of the horrible service and experience just like at this Hampton. This is the first time I've been so compelled by the poor service and experience that I feel I need to actually write a review. The girl working the front desk, Carrie, is incredibly rude, she blames the customer for everything, doesn't listen or let customers even finish their sentences and calls guests liars. I would NEVER talk to or treat one of my clients like she did me. This hotel will overcharge you, not make it right, will blame YOU (instead of properly training and re-training their staff so they are giving accurate information to customers to start with) and after charging me $354 for a room for one night (at a HAMPTON of all places) wouldn't even tell me the name of the gentleman who initially helped me with my reservation. She said she doesn't work weekends and doesn't know who does? Who doesn't know their co-workers? It's a HAMPTON INN - their staff isn't that large. Just another example of being rude, withholding information from customers (information which would help make things right) and makes it incredibly clear she doesn't care about guests AT ALL. The gentleman who initially helped me was kind, respectful and helpful, but he's nowhere to be found now and all you get is this Carrie lady who is nothing but rude and unhelpful and who blames the customer for mistakes the hotel made. It doesn't matter how nice or reasonable you are, she's just rude from the get-go and someone who shouldn't be in a customer-facing role. This hotel isn't up to Hilton standards - The Holiday Inn I stayed in the week before was much cleaner, the rooms here aren't updated, the location isn't great (there are other local hotels which are much closer and within walking distance to restaurants/stores) AND apparently they're requiring a ridiculous, according to "Carrie" 10 day cancellation window, so beware. I don't know how you're supposed to cancel within 10 days if you get Covid? I guess you're supposed to show up sick and infect their staff and guests? Save yourself the headache of having to deal with this hotel and this team...you'll be much happier at the Holiday Inn or even the Motel 6! This experience just sealed the deal for me...I have 4 more upcoming stays in Hilton brand hotels in the next 2 months and they're all getting swapped to Marriott or IHG. If you're going to Oneonta, choose the Courtyard or Holiday Inn...my friends who did make the trip raved about them, we are just sorry we couldn't be there with them.

Quiet and clean hotel with decent pool (3-5 ft deep) plus hot tub. Front desk was super helpful with an early check in, and storing some special order items in their front desk fridge for me. Hot water in the room is a bit weak and takes a long time. Toilet clogged 2 times in the 6 days I was here, guy refused my tip for fixing. So who knows.

The room was lovely. The first night was amazing. It is really uncomfortable knowing that after reporting this situation 3 times the hotel is okay with allowing 15 little girls (ages 6-10 maybe) alone in the pool area. With the parents not around. Don’t want to think the worst but can’t help it when the hotel can’t even follow the rules posted in the pool area.
