This is one of the worst hospitals in the country. The doctors, with rare exceptions, are horrible. The nurses are rude and disrespectful. Never go here unless you're forced to.

I have had multiple awful experiences at Mary Rutan. The hospital is ran as a non profit and supported by donations. I think this is why there is no accountability for their staff having no bedside manner. I also think that the rotten stinking culture of Bellefontaine Ohio has something to do with the fact that some of these nurses and doctors are stuck up and there for the paycheck. I used to think that people who went into medicine were compassionate people who want to care for others 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Mary Rutan has showed me that is not the case. I have suffered more damage than has ever been healed at Mary Rutan. There is a reason they put so much money into marketing to tell us they care, because they obviously don't.

The only redeemable qualities of this place are the lab and radiology staff, and a handful of Drs and nurses. The Senior Drs are great. The junior nurses are horrible.. ESP. travelling nurse, Adam... he shouldn't be allowed around people. I was misdiagnosed twice. Go to the next town over, if possible.

HORRIBLE bedside manner & unwilling to listen. The front desk clerks are more like prison guards patrolling who is & isn't allowed in. I understand the need for extra protocols during covid, but when someone comes in with an issue that has been ongoing & COMPLETELY unrelated & needs help they hinder the process. This has happened multiple times. I wish this wasn't the only option in Bellefontaine.
