I'm standing in a very long line with at least 15 people. There is one cashier ringing people out. The manager is on the floor straightening racks as is at least one other employee that I see. I've worked retail before and employees have time to straighten racks once the doors close for the evening. The manager has looked at this ridiculous line numerous times and continued to straighten racks. No one called anyone else to help ring up people at the register. At the end of the day, the total sales for the store is more important than straightened racks. EVERY manager knows this. But I guess when your employees (and manager) are trying to leave at the same time the store closes, you shift focus to cleaning instead of revenue.
