Very helpful workers. They helped with my first, last and security to get into an apartment after i recived my sec 8 voucher . And they also helped me with furniture (brand new bed, dressers, kitchen table) from a local furniture store and delivery. Great people and great programs. Thank you cmha for all your help in my time of need.

They will help you get into a place and more my friend..
What do you mean, like what is the maximum amount someone can make and still get rental assistance?
You would need to go and speak with a case worker but I can tell you that they can help with your back rent but you just need to go there during the hours of operation and meet with somebody there they will have you fill out the needed paperwork and also let you know what forms they may need from you like proof of address proof of back rent and stuff like that. I hope this helps
Yes they do you would need to have to go down there and meet with a worker.
Yes they do
They do not give out assistance in the form of cash but they will help you pay your utility bill if you have a shut-off notice and also help you with first month's last month's and security deposit on rent and with furniture as well
It depends on your situation and income, you will have to go there and ask!
They do help with security deposits... Idk if specifically for section 8 but they do help. You can call n ask as well.
One a year
Hi Gabriel, I work at CMHA. That depends if there is a lease or if you are a tenant at will. If you have a lease, the landlord can't raise the rent until the end of lease period. If you are a tenant at will, they can raise the rent as many times as they want and as much as they want as long as they give a proper 30 day notice. If you are having issues with your landlord, you can give is a call at 508-791-7265 ext 172. Leave a message and a housing counselor will give you a call back to get more information about what's going on.
The hours are Mondays & Tuesdays 1 - 3:30, Wednesdays 9 - 11, and Thursdays 4:30 - 6:30.
I believe they do, if they have any funding left or they can atleast point you in the right direction.
