The hospitals great but I refuse to step foot in the Mount Carmel Hospital Facilities till I know the doctors won't overdose their patients on purpose like that one doctor did before he got his medical license revoked. But it's still uneasy to trust Mount Carmel Hospitals again. Otherwise great hospital. I even had my arm come out of it's socket and the medical students wanted to watch it be put back in. I said sure otherwise how can a new generation of doctors/nurses not learn how to do it on their own when they one day become real doctor's and real nurses

I was recently discharged from Mount Carmel (East) following inpatient treatment. I will not be disclosing the cause of the hospitalization, but please note that the diagnosis required interactions with multiple departments within the hospital. Simply put, the staff and services provided by Mount Carmel was nothing short of SUPERB!!! From the moment I stepped into the Emergency Department through discharge, I felt that my care and well being were the staff’s number one priority. My concerns were validated and I was treated like a person experiencing medical concerns versus a diagnosis (eg, the “cancer patient”). All staff members I encountered were professional and personable, which went a long way in ensuring my needs were met through each phase of my stay. This includes the Technicians, Nurses, and Physicians who thoroughly explained what brought me to the hospital, the diagnostics, the treatment, and aftercare. In addition, the support staff (Transport, Nutrition, Logistics, and Housekeeping) were attentive and dedicated to providing exceptional comfort measures. Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't note that the facilities were well appointed and exceptionally clean. I’m an Air Force retiree with 27+ years of active service and I’ve been treated in numerous medical treatment facilities worldwide, both military and civilian. Without hesitation, I’d count my encounter with Mount Carmel among the highest rated experiences I’ve ever had in receiving medical treatment. In addition to the customer care measures described above, the technical treatment was beyond world class and exceeded my expectations. My family and I are grateful for the Mount Carmel Team. Please keep up the great work! Sincerely, Bo

This is the worst you literally have to be dying to get help. They all have attitudes and no one once to work. They need new staff the ones they have are rude. I came in being a victim of assault with a car and sat in my room for three hours no pain meds no information no anything and anytime I asked for anything no one wanted to help and ignored me. I will never come back here everrrrrr.

Doesn't sound like you had an emergency if you didn't even stick around to find out what is wrong. Maybe you should get a primary physician or seek out urgent care next time as they might be a better solution to your stubbed toe.
