I am a 1st time mom trying to get my child into pre-k. I have never felt such a sense of frustration like I do at this moment. Mind you according to them my child has to go to a school for special needs based on some evaluation they did on her when she was 2!!! She’s speaking a little more day to day at 3! This school system is going to delay my daughter more than help her and I am not liking the administrators by any means!! I’m willing to take my chances at head start!!!

Worked as a teacher for 18 years. Teachers are micromanaged to the point of the principal telling teachers how the desks are arranged in your room. Students must work in groups of three or four where nothing gets done except talking and laughing. Parents are mostly uninvolved with only 10 to 15% of them showing up for parent-teacher conferences. Most students are woefully unprepared for their classes because they are three to four years behind where they should be. This is a district that simply has no clue. Six different superintendents in the time I taught there. Don't look for any Improvement in the future. It's not going to happen.
