Boba tea was excellent. Tikka Masala was awesome. Service wasn’t bad. Went here on a Saturday afternoon during the summer. I would guess that during the fall and spring semester of GT that the crowd gets large and maybe the service gets slow?

My siblings and I came here on a not-so-busy night. We ordered three entrees and waited 40 minutes for the first meal. We took it back to the kitchen and told one of the employees (who wasn’t a chef) that we order two other meals. We then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes before the same employee came out of the kitchen to tell all of the customers that one (of the two) chefs had left about an hour ago. Apparently, the two chefs together ran their separate halves of the kitchen - while still completing every order -, limiting their knowledge on how to run the other side of the kitchen. Due to this, the only meals that the present chef could make on his side of the kitchen were made. After being told about the situation, everyone that had yet to receive their order was able to get a full refund. Within our hour of waiting, about 10 or less meals were made, not complete orders. Moral of the story: Employees should tell their customers - when they walk into the restaurant - if they cannot provide everything on the menu. It would save everyone, employees and customers, time, labor, and money.

I eat here pretty regularly, and it's a great spot for a quick bite. They get backed up around 12:30, but most of the time your order is out in under 10 minutes. Their kitchen has gotten more consistent, and they have a pretty good variety of dishes. If you want a fast-casual Asian restaurant, Tin Drum is a great spot.

It's connected to the side of the building but you have to go outside and to the left to access it.
