All MamaSezz meals are prepared (like your favorite chef stopped by with a dish for you), just heat and eat. Trays: If your meal comes in a tray you can remove the overwrap, and place the tray directly in a preheated (350 degrees) oven. It will be warm in about 15 minutes. Or empty the contents into a stovetop pan and warm on the element or microwave directly in our microwave-safe trays. Bags: If your meal comes in a stack bag empty into a saucepan and heated on stovetop or into a microwave-safe bowl to warm in your microwave.

Everything from MamaSezz comes with a "use or freeze by" date on the packaging. Typically, that date is within 10-18 days of your delivery. All our food freezes wonderfully (except cornbread), so if you'd like more time, pop in the freezer for up to two months.

Our eco-friendly boxes have been designed and tested to keep your food fresh. It’s like a mini-fridge (fully recyclable), making sure your delivery is nice and cold on its journey to you. Take it from our fridge and put it in yours. Our cold chains are designed to keep the ice packs cold for up to three days.

You don’t need to be home at the time of delivery. No signature is required and FedEx will drop your box at your door; the food is packed with enough ice to keep it cool and fresh for up to 3 days from shipment date.

Orders need to be in by 8pm ET on Sundays for delivery that upcoming week. We ship from our Keene kitchen on Wednesdays and your delivery will arrive Thursday or Friday.

We can't customize the recipes for our dishes. We do allow up to two substitutions per bundle. To request a swap simply tell us which items you want to be swapped in the Notes section of your cart. We do ask that any swaps be made with items that are of the same a la carte price as the dish you're swapping out.

Thank you for your question. We do not use any added refined sugar (or any sugar) to any of our products. Everything is whole food plant-based so any sweetness is coming from ingredients such as sweet potato, dates, etc. We also use no oils, limited salt, and we are gluten-free.
