It's not too my knowledge. The park is split into two sides- High Service Avenue and Smithfield Road. The small park is on High Service and the main park is Smithfield Avenue. But the path starts on High Service Avenue and continues all the way to Smithfield Avenue side.
I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier but I bring both of my dog's to a wooded park off log road on 104. I think it's technically considered Smithfield. They have a blast because I always take them off leash so they can run through the woods
