You will need a DTF802 to transfer the title and he will have to get new plates. The Yates County DMV is very helpful.
Think you need to try calling ahead to leave a message or try "0" because only "open door" visits seem to work faster..
See that you have the title in your name first. Then register it in your name.
They have a drop box outside the dmv put your plates and all that included with your $1 dollar and it will be canceled. Anymore questions just asked thanks for the questions Daniel
Make an appointment BUT....FASTER if you get your eyes tested at an approved eye test pace. More than likely a Pharmacy or the like in your community. Those places are free. They will send results to DMV directly and you can renew on line. If you need the enhanced there will be some other items you will need to present. A temporary license will be made available for you to print. Easy Peezy. (The eye test locations can be found on the DMV Yates web site)
