The Landing at Queensbury

My mother has been staying at The Landing for 5 months, and every single staff member I have worked with has been of the highest quality. The facility has basic amenities, but they are very nice and comfortable. Everything is kept in very good condition. My mother has advanced Alzheimers and understanding her needs is a challenge, but the aides and nurses have been most helpful. I have noticed the community that grows among the residents. There's a good amount of daily activity even in the Memory Care, and at times there's a lull too. The food is pretty good too, and I have seen residents being welcomed to the dinner table. So nice to be recognized and even celebrated. Covid has surely limited outside interaction. When interaction with family can fully resume, I hope The Landing offers support groups and informational sessions to understand what to expect as your loved one ages at the facility and beyond.

I worked there. It’s a truly awful place to send your family. Please do not send your loved ones here. This is not at all a place that cares. They are only after money. It’s disgusting.

The worst place to send family I worked here I have seen the level of care they do not care for residents and staff the rn in the building dose not know what she is doing u have med techs who not not giving meds right we had someone sick for three weeks and they refused to send out and she passed two days later due to covid and then we lost two more do to neglect from the lpn who runs memory care if u send ur family they will not get what they need there
