Had a great stay here. If you’re looking for a place to slow down your busy life, this is it. Customer service was impeccable and all of the staff was so kind. I had a facial and a massage at the spa and both services were magical. There is also so many delicious restaurants within 20 minutes of the Inn. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it!

I attended a wedding here and spent the night at the hotel. It was probably the best wedding I've ever been to. The property is made up of at least a dozen small, freestanding buildings. The bellman said it used to be a tobacco farm and many of the buildings were built in the 1800s! The wedding venue was situated at the far end of the property and was so unique. It didn't look anything like the cookie-cutter venues you usually see at hotels. So much character, and the food was AMAZING!!! We all moved to the hotel bar for an afterparty when the reception ended and the parents hosted a delicious brunch the next morning. I didn't spend much time in the hotel room, but the bed was super comfortable and they had cozy robes hanging in the closet for us. I hope I get to go back sometime for another wedding. Or maybe I'll just treat myself to a night away!

Firstly, I cannot fault the staff. They are incredibly helpful and concientious. The place itself is absolutely beautiful. My only problem comes with how paper-thin the walls are! We were in the Amos King Tobacco Barn and let me tell you, we could hear everything our neighbours did and said. This wasn't a problem if our neighbours adhered to the 10 pm rule, but on the first night, we had people who used the bath tub at 11 pm and had the tv turned up the full volume till 1pm. As such, as beautiful as the room was and as great as the restaurant is (the steak was divine), I don't think my husband and I will be back.

Pros - beautiful room (wine cellar) and very convenient location to spa and restaurant. Only a 10-15 min drive to downtown Lancaster. We enjoyed the well kept grounds. The staff were all nice and accommodating. Spa was great and restaurant was fantastic! Cons - Noise. Do not book the wine cellar room if you are looking to sleep in. Could hear vacuuming and loud footsteps above us every morning. Based on previous reviews, looks like this is an issue they are aware of and should tell guests about before booking. Inn is off of a busy road as well so you will hear trucks/traffic. Limited TV channels. Pick up breakfast was limited for certain diets and subpar. I’m not sure if we would stay here again, but would revisit the spa and restaurant. (Lara reservation)

No they are not
I didnt go to the restaurant but it didn't seem to have a dress code as far as the people I seen going in. I'm sure anything you'd wear for a nice dinner date or lunch date is fine.
