This place is the best car wash around! I’ve lived in the danbury area for 20+ years and I’m always changing up car washes because they either aren’t consistent or charge to much.. especially post covid. I’ve always driven by top hat but always thought it was self service until recently. To my surprise, I pulled in and it was a touchless car wash which is great because i don’t love the big machines rubbing against my car. As soon as the outside wash is done you pull forward and someone is there to meet you and wipe down the exterior. You pull into a spot and I swear I waited over 30 mins while someone did a mini detail on the inside of my car. I got back in and it felt like a brand new car on the inside. Immaculately cleaned and i was SO thrilled! I’m overdue now can’t wait to go back! THANK YOU TOP HAT!

First time there and had interior and exterior wash. The two guys who did my interior were superb. Meticulous work, car really shines. Thanks

The wash was adequate but there was no apparent order or organization. It took over an hour from the start of the wash to getting back on the road (not including the wait on the line). After the wash is confused and chaotic, leading to miscommunication and frustration. I'll be looking for a more professional and organized car wash in the future.

I took a chance and brought my Jag here on a busy Sunday afternoon. Here is a tip - if you want the automated touch less wash, stay in the left lane. I went in the right lane where they have a crew of people who will pressure wash, spray foam and spray chemicals on your vehicle then use a foam broom on your car to loosen the dirt. The person working the line and taking payments knew right away that I was in the wrong lane. He assure me that they wouldn’t use the broom on my car and that they would only pressure wash, foam and then do an undercarriage spray which is important given all the salt on the roads right now. The cost was only $10. You sit inside your car the entire time as they spray the outside, then rinse and guide you forward to the blower which also sprays the undercarriage. Drive forward slowly to maximize your time in the blower. You exit into an area with vacuums to your left where many have stopped to either pay other employees to dry and do interior clean (for an additional charge). i pulled into an open slot to dry my car further because the blowers only did not dry my car sufficiently. I was prepared and have my own portable leaf blower and microfiber cloths. I noticed that my car was still dirty as the spray foam detergent and pressure wash rinse was not adequate to remove all the accumulated road salt dust. For context, I don’t really drive when the roads are wet to avoid exposing my car to the salt spray and I keep it in a garage so it wasn’t really dirty but still, what do you want for $10? I was able to dry and lightly lift the remaining residue from my car. It is an acceptable winter stop gap wash for now. Please excuse any typos or autocorrects that I may have missed as I am typing this from my phone.
