I recently held an 80th birthday party at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury CT and it was everything I had hoped for and more. Planning was made easy by the Sales Manager Katie Bishop who was always kind, professional, supportive, and flexible. She also had great ideas that added to the success of the party. The rooms are beautiful, made even more so by lighting and linen selections. The food from appetizers to dinners to dessert was outstanding. I highly recommend the Swedish meatballs at the appetizer station and my guests raved over the sirloin dinner. My guests could not stop commenting on the quality of all the food. The meals were hot, the servings generous, and I highly recommend the pastry table and ice cream bar which went over very well! The service was wonderful, in my case led by Ashley. Guests commented on the friendliness and flexibility of all the servers and the bartender. I needed additional help as I was hospitalized for the week right up to the event and again, Katie provided outstanding last-minute support. The day after the party, my guests were still calling to thank me and say the party was the best that they had ever attended. If you are on the fence, just book it.

There aren’t any words to express my gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Amber Room. From event planning to the event, to the follow up after the event, they treated us like family. We had our event go off without a hitch or hiccup due to the careful planing and masterful execution. Of all of the venues we considered, the Amber Room was top of the list because of their staff and willingness to make it a memorable event. I highly recommend the Amber Room for your event needs!!

The Amber Room is an amazing venue. I have now hosted 4 of our special family events here; 2 christenings, and 2 birthday parties; one 30th, and one most recently for my 3 year old daughter. The staff is phenomenal to work with, the venue is clean, updated and beautiful. Katie, Doug and team will work with you on any vision you have for your special day. Highly recommend this venue, we will surely be back.
