I visited this evangelical Anglican congregation 6 years ago, and felt more welcomed than at any other church I had attended in the city. It's a smaller church, and I loved the focus on the bible and gospel-centered nature of the teaching and home fellowship group studies. I'm now a member.

We sing a few different kinds of worship songs as a congregation. Mostly rich hymns, new hymns like Getty songs, and some more contemporary songs. Around Christmas is the only time we present music - that takes the form of a Lessons and Carols service where we sing traditional Christmas songs, maybe some Messiah, and maybe some contemporary arrangements. We also have monthly "community concerts" featuring student or professional musicians from our community. Information can be found on the calendar page of our website, or on our facebook page
CCNYC has a mens group meeting regularly. Also, Sunday service is followed by coffee hour with robust conversation and bi-monthly lunch.
