Upon arriving in Lancaster County we were looking for a winery to have a tasting or even buy a bottle to take with us from a local establishment. Google advised that Lancaster County Winery was open for business. Upon arrival we found they were closed until further notice. Whilst researching another place to taste some wine in the parking lot. This gentlemo, for lack of a better word, drove up on his mower and asked if we needed anything and what we wanted. Explaining our dilemma he said. I can save you the trouble in finding another winery..there ain't any. Anything else? Very rude man. Not out fault Google said you were open.

Not very many wines to choose from and since we interrupted him from mowing, I felt obligated to buy. Did not have very many wines to taste test so I went with my normal favorites, picked up a Seyval Blanc and Niagara. When I jumped in the car I noticed that one wasn’t even produced by Lancaster Winery but by Naylor Winery. Anyway, opened the Seyval and the cork fell apart. The wine was horrible ended up pouring it down the drain. It didn’t have a date produced on so it could have been a couple years old and I wouldn’t have known. Maybe it is a good thing my other bottle wasn’t produced by them. Hoping it isn’t as bad!
