Not only do they check the info on your application, if you have another dog, they want to do a meet and greet between your dog and the dog you want to adopt.

They try to help all dogs in need. As a no kill shelter there is only so much space though. I would suggest you call first.

Fees unknown but if you have to surrender an animal, this is the place to go, a no-kill well maintained shelter.

Surrendering a cat to a no-kill shelter is the best. You want to make sure the shelter is supplied and maintained well. You could supposedly call different shelters to find the best place to surrender your kitty to.

Yes, you have to call. It seems to go on the weight of the animal and wether you want your animal done privately or not. They will ask a series of questions and then tell you the best time to bring in the animal. When you bring in the animal you will have to fill out paperwork and then pay the fee.

Yes, I would recommend washing the blankets, especially if the animal has been eating/chewing something on it. Things like feces particles around their areas and drool from their mouths makes the blanket unsanitary and dirty.
